Suddenly something inside of her snapped. She jolted forward and closed the gap between his and her lips but only for a brief second. She pulled away quickly, realizing what she had done, “oh gosh…” she mumbled under her breath, “Sav, I am so sorry, I uh…” she trailed off awkwardly, her face turning bright red as fear filled her brain. Did I just fuck everything up?

Sav was really shocked at what just happened, but he actually didn’t mind it. “Whoa, what just happened?” He asked. He smiled a little. “So, I’m guessing you had more things to say than to just thank me?” He asked. “It’s all good though, I don’t mind” He winked.

Really Willow? All that build up and that’s the best you can come up with, she thought to herself for a moment but then pushed the thought to the back of her mind.

Sav smiled, he thought Willow was so nice. He didn’t really know what she was going to say but, he thought it was going to be something else. “You’re very welcome Ms. West.” He gave her a pat on the shoulder, “You know, if it wasn’t for your brilliant idea on masquerade, who knows what the theme might be.” He said smiling.

Sav saw Willows face getting a little red, but he didn’t think she was into him, he was a little naive still. He looked around at some of the people and thought she might have been a little embarrassed. “Hey, your face seems a little red, don’t tell me you’re about to throw up over the sight of dancing with me..” He said joking.

She nervously tried to cover her blush and giggled lightly. “You’re not all that bad, Mr. President. Don’t bring yourself down,” she smiled up at him, making quick but lasting eye contact before looking away quickly. She had thought about this moment for a long time and, even though she knew that he was going off to college and would be away, she wanted to make these last moments count. “Hey Sav…” she said quietly, looking up in his direction slowly, her eyes trembling and her heart racing.

Sav laughed, “Good to know someone think that!” He said. Sav saw that she looked a little nervous, which got him a little nervous. “Yes?” He asked.
